*Josh and I had a blast on Jesse’s fire department field trip last Friday.

*Field trip ended with a picnic in the park where Jesse got stung, not once, but TWICE by some angry bumble bees.

*Josh’s birthday was last Saturday.  We went to a four year old birthday party to celebrate!?

*My house is a DISASTER, but instead of cleaning…I’m blogging.

*We are weeks away from the ‘one year mark’ since we started the process to become foster parents, yet, here we are, still wading through red tape—no kids yet!

*Thanksgiving is 51 days away.

*Christmas is in 80 days.

*I’ve been listening to Christmas music since September.  Always have.

*I’m addicted to children’s books. 

*Today is “tacky day” at Jesse’s school, but he was REALLY unsure about his absolutely, wonderfully tacky outfit.  He just kept repeating, “Are you sure mommy?  This REALLY doesn’t match!”  Yes, Jesse, that’s the point.

*OK, I’m going to get Joshua’s school work finished and my entire house clean by lunch time….better get started!
