Don't Be Fooled with the "Made From Corn" Commercials!
Tuesday, October 21st, 2008It sickens me that the FDA and FTC are fully behind these rediculous, fraudulent, misleading commercials urging parents to believe that high fructose corn syrup is natural and okay for you and your family to consume just like sugar or honey. The truth is, there is NOTHING natural about high fructose corn syrup! It is completely processed and refined into some chemically alterred sweetner no better for us than aspertame. I don’t want to steal anyone else’s research, so I encourage you to check out these websites for the real truth. Just remember this: If you want the very best nutrition for your family, stay as close to the natural source as possible. Stay away from white, refined sugars and flours, boxed cereals and meals (try oatmeal instead), sugar in the raw is quite a misconception as well! Sugar in the raw is coarse, white, refined sugar that has been rolled in molasses for color! Look it up, you’ll see. I highly encourage anyone wanting to eat healthy and make the very best choices for your family to buy the book “Nourishing Traditions” by Sally Fallon. It is actually a cookbook, but has page after page of incredible nutritional knowledge and wisdom based on the findings of Weston Price.
Anyways, here are two articles related to high fructose corn syrup:
